Following Intensive Retreat, Fellows Wow Crowd at Launch EventNovember 27, 2012
Eight dynamic social entrepreneurs from across North America gathered in Baltimore in early November for the first retreat of the 2012-2014 Dual Investment Program. Focused on articulating their visions, and on building a network of support around those visions, they were challenged to consider the organizational and personal needs required to build healthy, sustainable organizations.
Guided by Yoni Gordis, Fellows explored the power and potential of the energy in the room to peer problem-solve and tap into the knowledge and experience of the group. Nearly one-third of our Alumni joined us to share their wisdom and resources.
After four days of intensive cohort work, we celebrated the kick-off of the program with a festive soiree on the first night of JFNA’s General Assembly. One by one, the Fellows introduced themselves to a packed crowd eager to learn more about these groundbreaking ventures. They were poised, polished, and passionate — and many attendees gushed that this was the place to be to get inspired at the GA.
