Amy Rothberger

Amy comes to Joshua Venture Group as her final placement through the Insight Fellowship, a project of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation’s Center for Leadership Initiatives. Through the Insight Fellowship, Amy previously worked at the Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists and American Jewish World Service.
Amy graduated from the George Washington University with a specialized degree in Contemporary Semitic Languages and Cultures. She studied Hebrew, Arabic, and inter-disciplinary Middle Eastern studies both at GW and at the University of Haifa, where she worked as a grant writer and translator at a domestic violence treatment and prevention center. She has worked in DC and New York public schools, and in experiential Jewish education for young adults in the US and Israel. Amy grew up in Michigan and currently lives in Brooklyn.
